After we put in our player, by the name of Miluli, up against the entire team as goalie Alejandro decided to jump in the goalie box. Here’s what happened =)
On Friday our founder Alejandro came down and suited up one of our players to play as goalie. We put a helmet, gloves, goggles, padded clothing and more and set a couple of players to shoot the ball at the same time. Lots of laughs and fun was the result. Check out the video below!
Yesterday we had practice for the younger kids. We started out with about 8 kids but by the end of practice we had a nice group of around 15. We practiced ball control and ended with a small game. The practices are going a lot smoother now that we have them divided into age groups! We are missing some soccer balls as there are more kids arriving now that it has been divided.
Check out some pictures from practice a couple of days ago. These are the little ones.
Welcome to the month of May! Here are some pictures from the first practice of the month. Our next practice will be Tomorrow at 2pm. Feel free to stop by!
We would like to extend a special thank you to Cinda and Ray for coming by and helping us out. They where received with open arms by the kids and brought a great energy to the practice. You can check out some pictures of that practice below!
Thanks to our supporters we can now have 3 sessions a week and will be playing 2 games a month. Practice times are now Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5pm. Also, if we are not playing a game we will have practice Saturday at 2pm! Feel free to join in and bring your kids to be part of the fun!!
While we wait check out a quick video shot with the GoPro. For the players that show up early to practice we tend to play some mini games while we wait for the practice to start. This time around we had 3 teams of 2 and a goalie playing on half of the field.
On Saturday our players did some passing, dribbling and shooting drills. Now that school is out we have players coming throughout the week to play soccer. A minimum of 6 players is required to start and they organize the games and practices from what they learned during the weekend. This is a great way to have them work together and be a team.
